MARTIAL ARTS FOR TEENS (13 TO 17)
Martial Arts can be really good for teens. Generally, this sport promotes self-discipline, builds strength, flexibility, and agility, and instills values of honor, hard work, and respect. Our programs teach confidence-building self-defense skills as well. However, some parents may wonder if Martial Arts promotes violence or if they need to worry about injuries.
This is not the case, based on statistics, people that are trained in Martial Arts, and are taught a philosophy that is proven to improve people lives, are in fact at a lower risk to be involved in violent acts or getting more injured than even playing in the park.
These are some of the benefits our program offer to teens:
- Balance
- Self-awareness
- Motivation and work ethic
- Physical fitness and muscle
- strength
- Flexibility
- Self-esteem
- Improved cognitive function
- Patience
- Self-respect
- A sense of communite
As a parent, is important that you provide your teen with the tools to make them great citizen of our society.
